This is great! Like the other person said the smell is different from other types of Cederwood. I have to say I prefer this smell. I love it. You can make biodegradable soap with this. This of course depends on your soap base. Men love it. I made a soap for my friend who wanted a soap for certain body odors. It puts the karate chop in fungus and odors.
I confess that I have trouble remembering the difference between this oil and the Texas version. I use both in my homemade bug repellant. Cedarwood is strong, but not obnoxious unless overdone. I'm happy with it.
This cedar has more of an eastern spice tone than North American cedars. Like Virginian Cedar it adds a woody middle note to botanical perfumes & is also nice in diffuser blends.
