Origin: France
Plant Description: A tall evergreen with hard reddish brown wood and almost smooth, brown gray cones. Can grow up to 150 feet in height! Cypress trees are commonly found in graveyards as the wood is used to make coffins.
Extraction Method: Steam distillation from the leaves, needles, twigs and cones. A small quantity of absolute and concrete can also be produced.
Color: Colorless to very pale yellow
Consistency: Thin
