Plant Description: A tall evergreen with hard reddish brown
wood and almost smooth, brown gray cones. Can grow up to 150 feet in height! Cypress
trees are commonly found in graveyards as the wood is used to make coffins.
Extraction Method: Steam distillation from the leaves, needles,
twigs and cones. A small quantity of absolute and concrete can also be produced.
Color: Colorless to very pale yellow
Consistency: Thin

refreshing and tenacious odor. Woody, Balsamic, agreeable amber scent, light and
clean, fresh.

Physical Health Benefits Can be beneficial for mature and dry skin as it can balance

of a pesky cough. Thought to Increase circulation, help with varicose veins,
hemorrhoids and menopausal problems.
Did You Know: You can use Cypress Essential Oil in a burner to
calm restless children or as an aid to the respiratory system.
Storage Directions: Essential Oils should be stored in a cool
dry place out of direct sunlight. Essential Oils should be stored in colored glass,
the most common storage method being used today are Boston Round Bottles in the amber
tint.
