steam distillation of the rhizome(root) of the Ginger herb.
Plant Description: Perennial herb with a white or yellow
flowering stem and narrow dark green leaves rising from a thick aromatic
rhizome(root). Grows to a height of about 3 feet, its long spiky leaves are similar in
appearance to reeds.
Color: Varies between pale yellow and a darker yellow.
