Description In Japanese, hinoki means "white cedar". An evergreen tree with narrow and conical shape, the Hinoki tree reaches heights of around 40 meters. The dark green scale-like leaves will turn brownish in winter. The bark is red-brown which tends to peel and small cones, found on short stalks are orange brown in color.
