Extraction Method: The Essential Oil is obtained through steam
distillation of the berries of the Juniper Berry shrub.
Plant Description: Slow growing coniferous shrub with bluish
green narrow, stiff needles. It has a reddish stem, needle-like leaves, small yellow
flowers, and blue berries that turn black on ripening. The shrub can reach up to 12
feet high.
Color: Colorless may have a slight yellowish-greenish tinge.
Consistency: Thin

Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy as it can induce labor, avoid
if you have kidney disease. Can irritate the skin if used in large quantities, this
oil is often adulterated with turpentine so make sure you buy it from a trusted
source.
