Description

Enriched with Sweet Almond and Jojoba Oils, our luxurious Lotion Base strengthens skin's natural moisture barrier to restore its beauty and radiance.

This base has been specifically formulated to be extremely robust. Essential Oils, fragrant oils, botanical extracts and various raw materials can be added in order to customize each product.

Usage: We recommend that no more than 5%-8% or 50-80 ml of any essential oil be added to a Liter our cosmetic bases. Exceeding this amount may destabilize bonds between the ingredients. Over time this may cause our bases to lose some of their luxurious properties including viscosity, smooth feel and rate of absorption.

Title: mineral oil

I have done a lot of research on mineral oil in beauty products and agree that it does provide a moisture barrier when applied to the skin. However, that barrier also prevents smaller molecules, such as those in jojoba and almond oil, from penetrating the skin. thus, the skin cannot absorb the benifits of these wonderful ingredients. I am no scientist, but it seems misleading to advertise these benifits. I have always been satisfied with all my purchases, so I am not intending to offend. I hope I am wrong because I\'ve been looking for a lotion base without mineral oil and it seems they don\'t exist. Is this a non-petroleum derived oil? Any more info on this product would help greatly. kind regards, Emily James
