Potassium Permanganate

I am inquiring about Potassium permanganate. My husband uses those purple granules for foot soaking. Is it the same thing you are selling ? I live in Quebec Canada. Is there a problem to ship here ? Thanks

This is hazardous, known to cause cancer-printed on the containers. I used this in zinc electro plating(in the zinc bath), do not have skin come in contact with this material. It will also stain you purple.

when I was a kid my mom would put a few crystals in the water when we had sick chickens. I believe it is an oxidizing agent and would treat intestinal disorders in chickens! I remember the name and the purple color of the water.

This chemical is used in the iron filter for my drinking water, so I question Liz\'s statement on causing cancer.

Do not use this...doesn\'t matter if others do..there is arsenic in chicken feed, doesn\'t mean we should be consuming it just because people put it there(causes them to grow faster and is used as a \'safe\'antibiotic since technically you can not use actual antibiotics in chickens. Tap water is also cancerous(noted above as used for water treatment)...hence the reason most people in the world drink a distillation of their water supply. Ignorance is not best...please research fully before playing with something you are not familiar with and don\'t use just because \'someone\' told you it was safe. This is a chemical I personnaly used in plating and we were advised that it is a cancer causing agent. We had to wear head to toe safty gear when using it. I can\'t believe there are people out there trying to use this as a coloring agent...you can be sued if a consumer were to find out by doing independent lab work on your item.
