Should not be confused with washing powder, which is powdered soap used as a detergent, also it should not be confused with baking soda. It can also be used to clean things like coffee machines.Difference from Washing Soda light. Molecularly heavier the washing soda light.

Soda Ash Dense is used in soap, washing powder, dyeing, metallurgy, paper manufacturing, synthetic detergent, water treatment, daily-use glass industry, fiberglass insulation, commercial building, automotive industries and the petrolchemical industry. It is easily soluble in water. In the U.S. 9% of the soda ash that is used is used in soaps, cleaning compounds, detergents, with its primary function being as a filler. It is also a carrier for the surfactants that is in the soap and can be a source of alkalinity for the pH adjustment of the soap.

Natural: Soda Ash is a sodium salt derived from a mineral called Trona. Green River Basin, Wyoming, is where the largest deposit in the world is. There Trona is mined and refined into soda ash. Soda Ash is a basic product that is used both in the chemical industry and the Alkali industry. Soda Ash is less acidic than sodium bicarbonate.

Soda Ash will tend to absorb any moisture from the atmosphere around it. It will also then begin to absorb carbon dioxide. This absorption of carbon dioxide and moisture is termed weathering. After the weathering process, soda ash will contain appreciable sodium bicarbonate and moisture. Its alkali content will not change though. It will also tend to become cakey and lumpy after it comes into contact with moisture.

Washing soda, commonly referred to as sodium carbonate, is an alkaline salt known for its versatile applications in cleaning, personal care, soap making, and cosmetics. It's a strong base and a powerful cleaning agent, but it's also used in other areas such as water softening and pH regulation.
