I was expecting this to have a spicier smell. The floral scent seems to take over for me. I think the ginger and amber really are more background scents to take the floral scent deeper. I don't smell either one individually. Although it wasn't what I expected, I really enjoy this fragrance when I want a floral, perfumy scent.
