The paisley "twisted teardrop" design originated in Iran and India but got its popular name from the town in Scotland when they started reproducing the design based on cashmere shawls brought back by soldiers serving in the colonies. The Beatles brought it to the states in the 1960s and it caught on with the psychedelic crowd. Our Tray Paisley soap mold makes nine groovy soaps.

Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135-145 degrees F. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
