I confess that I have trouble remembering the difference between this oil and the Himalayan version. I use both in my homemade bug repellant. Cedarwood is strong, but not obnoxious unless overdone. I'm happy with it.
This is my favorite cedar oil of all the many cedars that soapgoods has to offer - smells most like what people associate with a cedar chest or closet.
I've used it with melted SheaButter and created a nice ointment for the scalp.
