As a licensed esthetician (skin care specialist) in WA state I don't recommend using dead sea salt as a facial scrub due to it being extremely abrasive to your skin it will literally begin to damage the skin on your face with continued use. Use sugar as a softer substitute...

Does anyone know if this is an actual dead sea salt from the 'Dead Sea'..bc not one description in the details of the product states where the origins of this salt is from..a simple at-home test will determine if this is genuine dead sea salt or regular, overpriced salt...

The granules are pretty big. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but I thought I was getting salt that might be dual soak and scrub. These granules don't work well for the "scrub" part. They will make an excellent soak though.

I made bath salts out of these salts and they make an excellent bath. They hold fragrance and color very well

Oh my goodnes! I LOVE this salt. I use it as a treatment in the bath once a week and when I step out, I am sooo relaxed and ready to sleep. I also add a fragrant oil or Jojoba oil for additional moisture.
